Waiting in Hope as People of Hope (Isaiah 6:8 Luke 1:30-38)

Taking a look at Isaiah and Mary as servants of God who waited with great expectation and hope of a Messiah. Isaiah spoke of the Messiah as Mary carried and gave birth to the Messiah. Both had hope through hearing God's voice, through being obedient and through having enduring faith. We can also have the same hope as Mary and Isaiah. Every one of us will have times when we are criticized, sometimes fairly, but more often unfairly. Such criticism is a reflection more of the critic than of the person being criticized. The way to defeat such critics is to shake off their harsh words and keep moving forward, focusing on our goals and doing what we believe God wants us to do.
