Proper Gospel Response
What should we expect to happen when we practice Proper Gospel Ministry? In this message we learn that we should first of all expect people to receive the message as the Word of God, and become imitators of the church. Second, we should expect rejection. As we give out the message of Christ people will try to silence us, even as the Jews tried to silence Paul and the other Apostles. How have you responded to the Gospel message? How is the world responding to the message your giving? Are you even giving a message?
Proper Discipleship
What does effective, Gospel ministry look like? Who better to ask than the Apostle Paul himself who saw successful Gospel ministry in the lives of the Thessalonian believers. In this message we learn that proper gospel ministry is hard work, requires Christian character, fatherly encouragement, and in the end it produces Christians who walk in a manner worthy of the Kingdom and Glory of God.
