Don't Run Alone!
God has not designed us to live in isolation from one another. We were meant to draw encouragement and support from each other. This is especially true for those of us who are followers of Jesus for we are part of his family and called the "body of Christ." The apostle Paul serves as an example of someone who although a strong Christian leader, did not run the Christian race alone. The New Testament is full of the names of those who served with Paul and those who served Paul. In 2 Timothy at the end of Paul's ministry and nearing the end of his life, we read his deep desire to have the fellowship of other believers...and when they could not be with him and he felt all alone, he realized that one stood by him the entire time...it was Christ, the Lord.

Sermon on the Mount: Jesus on Worry
More than 20 years ago the Director of Britain’s National Association of Mental health identified stress as "the fastest growing disease in the Western world." This makes Jesus’ teaching on worry incredibly relevant!
