Act(s) II Scene I
In God's Sovereign design and order, His Spirit would be poured out, fulfilling the prophecy of Joel, on the Day of Pentecost. Pentecost celebrated the first fruits of new grain and the Lord certainly had something new and special for His servants and the church that day. What happened that day to so change this group of disciples into a powerhouse company for the Kingdom of God. This is that of which Jesus spoke when He said, "Not many days from now you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." Pentecost continues today.

Act(s) I Scene II
When is 12 more important than 11? Why is 12 more important than 11? In Acts we see Peter addressing the abdication of Judas as one of the twelve apostles and the need to see the Scripture fulfilled in selecting another to replace Judas. This message addresses how obedience to God and the ordering of our lives and businesses can align us with the Father and usher in the outpouring of His Spirit into our lives and churches.

Nevertheless
With the erosion of our society all around us; including the moral, financial, and political landscape, we need to be able to live in the land of "Nevertheless." Pastor James Hambrick brings us from the dwelling place of despair to the only place we can find hope; in our own "Neverthleless." This message deals with God's blessings to us and our need to embrace the One doing the blessing rather than the blessing itself.

Act(s) I Scene I
In Scene I of Act I of the Book of Acts, we see Jesus instructing the disciples to go to Jerusalem and wait on the power of the Holy Spirit. The Promise of the Father would surely come and the result of that promise would enable and empower them to do the mission set forth by the King. Only then are we able to be found "so doing" when the King returns to gather His kingdom.

Introduction to the Acts of the Holy Spirit
The Book of Acts is often called the Acts of the Apostles. While that is certainly not incorrect, maybe the real story of this book is the Acts of the Holy Spirit. This message introduces and offers an overview of this book of action and identifiable history for the disciple of Christ. As we approach a time of God sovereignly moving in a next awakening, it is prudent to study the first great move of His Spirit recorded in this letter written by Doctor Luke to his friend, Theophilus.
