There is no other name in the book of Acts to be baptized but the name of Jesus Christ. He is Lord. "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost"(Acts 2:38). Jesus Christ is the Word and was in the beginning. Amen. Love you, brother Keith in Iowa, USA

Since the time of the council of Nicaean (325 A.C.), the traditional church baptizes "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". The name is left out. How did the first Christians baptize?

Acts 2,38: ...in the name of Jesus...

Acts 8,16: ...in the name of the Lord Jesus...

Acts 19,5: ...in the name of the Lord Jesus...

Acts 10,48: ...in the name of the Lord.

Rom 6,3: ...were baptized into Jesus Christ...Isaiah 9;6 + Mathew 28;18-19 =( acts 2;38)
