God’s Plans for All People – Part III

Fulfilling God’s Plans for All People

God’s plans are ultimately fulfilled thru “All People,” not “A Person”

Ephesians 4:16 – “Under His direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”

         We will only fulfill God’s ultimate plans together!

We fulfill God’s plans as All People when we…

1.    Make ourselves available

We must be willing to go from a spectator to a participant

        As we serve, we discover our ultimate callings.

        Acts 6:1-6 – What if Stephen hadn’t been willing & available?

2.    Function as a team  

Nehemiah 6:15-16 – they finished building the wall in 52 days!

        Tower of Babel – How much more can we do w/ God’s help?

3.    Take ownership of God’s vision

Colossians 3:23 – “Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”

This is how we avoid “burnout,” unfaithfulness, etc.

A church is made up of “team members” not volunteers.
