Quality Time with Our Creator

Time is the most valuable possession we have in today’s busy world

It is the one thing we all have the same amount of

 How we use our time says everything about our priorities

      We will make time for whatever is most important to us

      No one has ever regretted spending too much time w/ loved ones

When it comes to time with God, we must realize…

1.    We need time with God ________ day

 Jesus told us to pray daily - Matthew 6:11 (“Lord’s Prayer”)

Matthew 4:4 - we need our daily bread to survive

2.    Jesus always _______ time to be with the Father

Mark 1:35-37 – He did not give in to the tyranny of the urgent

         A sovereign God would never make us too busy to be w/ Him

1. 3.    We must be willing to ________ & ________ ourselves

Matthew 26:36-41 – We must be willing to overcome our “flesh”

You can’t wait until you feel like praying or reading the Bible

The reward is worth the sacrifice (Hebrews 6:12)

1. 4.    There are no _________ to a close relationship w/ God

Heb. 11:6 – our relationship w/ God is a marathon not a sprint

Question: What are you willing to settle for in this life?
