A Church OF All People (The Body of Christ)

ICor. 12:27a – “…Now all of you together are Christ’s body…”

God’s calls His Church a body, and it is made up OF All Believers.

A church OF All People understands…

1.  We are all part of a ________ (vss. 12-13)

A team works best when it functions as a team (so does a body).

1. 2.    We are all a _______________ part (vss. 14-17, 27b)

Every part of a body (incl. Christ’s Body) is vital & significant.

Vs. 27b – “…and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it.”

3.    God has _________ us just where He wants us (vs. 18)

God is very concerned with our affiliations and commitments.

        God has already chosen for us. Will we choose His choice?

4.    A _____________________ does not work (vss. 19-21)

Cancer is a form of the body working against itself.

A dysfunctional church is ugly and unfruitful.

We are called to build each other up, not tear each other down

This is why local churches are not “competitors”
