How to Change
The Gospel changes people from the inside out. Christ gives us a radically new identity, freeing us from both self-righteousness and self-condemnation. He liberates us to accept people we once excluded, and to break the bondage of things (even good things) that once drove us. In particular, the gospel makes us welcoming and respectful toward those who do not share our beliefs.

Looking to God to save You - Matthew 21:6-11
Series: Preparing for What's Ahead (Part 8) - The eighth and next-to-last sermon in the series, "Preparing for What's Ahead," lifts up the importance of national revival. If you have sought God's forgiveness, the evidence of God's work in your life is both a changed personal life and a life dedicated to working for godly transformation in your community, country and the world. You will hear in this sermon that God's tolerance for sin is not infinite, and that the opportunity for people to repent and seek God's mercy is limited. You will learn that previous nationwide spiritual revivals, or "awakenings," have been preceded by Christians responding to calls to pray. ***** Pastor Terry appeals for a commitment to covenant to pray for a national revival, while there is yet time to do so. A copy of the "Covenant to Pray" will be emailed to anyone who requests it. Phone 401-822-2070 and provide your email address. Please pronounce each letter of your email address and give a word example (e.g., "b" as in boy, etc.). Note: The final sermon in this series will be preached on November 29, 2009. *****

Do Not Love The World
From the beginning of time, satan uses 3 things against us: The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. This is how he tempted Eve; This is how he tempted Jesus in the dessert and this is how he continous to tempt us. It is time to say: Get behind me satan and declare God as Lord of your life!

When You Pray
How much time did you spend this past week, on your knees, in earnest prayer? May this be the reason that the church today is in the state it is? Jesus said: "and WHEN you pray"; (not if you pray). As believers we are EXPECTED to pray on our knees, humbling ourselves before our God by ourselves.

Truth in Prayer, No.1: Absolute Belief
Are you to busy to pray earnestly? Is work, tv, sports, even family more important than God? Are you squeezing in a prayer before dinner and right before bedtime because you feel obligated to do so? Or are you in CONSTANT prayer and honor God as He deserves as the creator of all things.

What A Change When God Moves In
Are you like a glove without a hand in it? Not moving. Not doing a thing! Or are you like a glove filled with a hand. Have you been filled with the Holy Spirit and is the Spirit moving within you to be obedient to God?

Time to Rise II
It is time for Christians to wake up and realize the times. The church is beginning to come under attack and we need to recognize it.

Let There Be Thanksgiving
A new person in Christ recognizes the sin, turns away from it and asks for forgiveness from God. Have we taught ourselves and our children this: "No immoral, impure, or greedy person has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and of God" (Ephesians 5:5)
