By 2 Corinthians 11 Paul finally cracks.  With all the seductive boasting of the false Jewish apostles who were fronting on him, Paul fires back with his own brand of boasting: boasting in his weaknesses.  He recounts his arrests and state punishments for the cause of Jesus, his hunger and thirst, lack of sleep and proper clothing, dangers in the city and on the road.

Paul provides a model for Christian maturity that comes down to one statement: boast in your weaknesses.
