Pride vs. Humility

Amen

James describes what a life lived in pride would look like, fighting, quarreling, war.  But when we can put down our pride, when we can humbly come before our God, we find grace pouring down over us.  He will lift us out of all that which our pride used to hold us down, he will restore us to a high place, and exalt us as a child of God.
