II. Cultivate Four Relational Unifiers

A. Replace lying with honesty.

“Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him.” Col. 3:9-10

B. Replace unresolved anger with reconciliation.

“Anyone can become angry, but to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose, and in the right way – this is not easy.” Aristotle

C. Replace stealing with sharing.

D. Replace tearing down with building up.

“He who speaks evil of an absent man or woman is not welcome at this table.” St. Augustine

Am I grieving the Holy Spirit or or imitating God’s love for me to others?
