Spiritual Fatherhood

When Paul made disciples, he could say about them, "Just look at how they live to remind you of how I live" because Paul lived his life surrendered to Christ. Sometimes we forget that as Christians, our purpose isn't just to gather for worship each week, but to make disciples. But what would it look like if we made disciples who looked like us? Would we like what we see? This is Paul's challenge to all of us today.

Head Coverings

When most Christians today read Paul's encouragement for women to cover their heads while praying or prophesying in a worship service, they write this off as being something cultural to Paul's time that has nothing to do with us today. Idolatry

What can help us run the race that God has set before us once we're on our own?

Issues of Personal Freedom: Evangelism to Unbelievers

When it comes to how we live out our faith before non-Christians, what is most important to us? Our freedom in Christ to do whatever we want? Or concern for the non-Christian? This is the ultimate question that Paul wants the church in Corinth to consider as they work out what it looks like to live out of the freedom that we now have in Christ.
