One Month to Live Pt. 4 - Learn Humbly from Failure
We all experience times where it seems our lives are crashing . . . where the wheels are coming off the track. We may find ourselves in a head-on collision in marriage, finances, morals, business, or some other arena of life. Jesus calls us to learn humbly from our failures, and to allow him to use our greatest weaknesses to show himself strong in our lives.

The second greatest commandment may be the hardest to keep. Jesus said we must love the people in our lives in the same way we love and look out for ourselves. But some people are really hard to love, and have wounded or disappointed us. Jesus taught the secret to loving people completely, even the most unlovable.

Too often, our expectations can set us up for disappointment and disillusionment. When it comes to God, we often have expectations of how we think He should work in our lives if we love Him. But God's ways are not our ways, and many times, the greatest gifts and blessings God is giving us are not wrapped in pretty or even desirable packages. If we don't look past the wrapping, we'll miss the gift entirely.
