The Church at Philippi is concerned about Paul's imprisonment, their ailing brother, and the persecution of enemies of God. Paul writes to reassure them that Epaphroditus is well, that his ministry is continuing despite imprisonment, and to maintain their joy. He leaves them with the challenge to walk worhty of the Gospel, talk in unity, to walk in courage, and to walk in joy despite the hardships. Our challenge is much the same in the church today.
