- 1 Corinthians 15:58
Ben Newby shares on trusting and relying on God through all circumstances. I have had rough times, and I’m still in rough times. This is not a formula to fix rough times, this is how God has been showing me to respond to the hard times.
When will I give up on Him? On His Promises?
Heb 11 6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Why? I don’t know… Jesus never said why… So I have better odds at the lottery at knowing why. We live in a world of conflict.Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; II Cor 4 7But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.God does not exist for man, Man exists for God and His Glory. Trusting God and living for Him doesn’t mean living life without trials, it means I can experience Him through the trials. What do I know? God is good. Matt 7 9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! What do I do? I trust God today – I look expectantly today for salvation.
2 Corinthians 6
1As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. 2For he says,
"In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you."[a] I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation. If the war drags on to tomorrow, so be it, but today is the day of salvation.
