Paul before Festus

Acts 24 overlaps with 25. All that was happening to Paul was because he proclaimed the resurrection of Christ; and that was a threat to all powers and principalities. The Bk of Luke ends with Christ's resurrection, and Acts begins and ends with the resurrection. Paul's defense which continues in Ch 25, was before those in the context of Jewish belief. There were accusations, misunderstandings and rumors against Paul. Such things as: him saying not to follow Moses; and that they do not have to be circumcised ... Paul DID proclaim Jesus; but he DID NOT do the other stuff. There was a greater power at work in Paul's life. When there are rumors, know this: evil is not far away. There is a great irony - people chanted to do away with Paul: 'away with him, away with him'. Those same words were chanted against Jesus Christ. There are overlapping narratives as Paul lives his life proclaiming Jesus. Both were persecuted/falsely accused; they put their message of the truth before their earthly life; and Paul, too, is willing to give his life for the trut
