I. When all the firstborn of Egypt died the Israelites left quickly. A. The people were ordered to immediately leave in the middle of the night. B. The people left with great wealth. II. When all the firstborn of Egypt died the Israelites left completely. A. No one was left behind, but many others joined them. B. Nothing was left behind, not even their unbaked dough. III. When all the firstborn of Egypt died the Israelites left obediently. A. God instructed the people about who could partake of Passover. B. The people obeyed whatever God told Moses and Aaron to do.

I. Moses warned Pharaoh of another plague that would compel him to send the Israelites away. A. Pharaoh was warned by Moses that every firstborn male of Egypt would die at midnight. B. Pharaoh was warned by Moses that the Israelites would be spared. II. Moses instructed the Israelites to prepare to leave Egypt. A. God instructed Moses and Aaron about how the Israelites should prepare to leave. B. The Israelites were instructed to celebrate this event annually in the future. C. At the right moment, the Israelites prepared the Passover meal in faith.

Go! But Not Too Far

I. God plagued the Egyptians, but not the Israelites, with flies. A. Moses was again sent by God to confront Pharaoh and warn of a plague of flies. B. Pharaoh reluctantly agreed to let the people go to worship, but once again changed his mind. II. God sent a devastating plague upon the livestock of the Egyptians, but not the Israelites. A. For the sixth time, Moses was sent by God to confront Pharaoh and warn of a plague upon the Egyptians' livestock. B. None of the Israelite animals died; yet, Pharaoh refused to let the people go. III. God sent a plague of boils upon the Egyptians. A. Without any announcement, Moses sends boils upon the Egyptians. B. In spite of the severity of their affliction, Pharaoh refused to listen to the Lord and let his people go.
