GCF: David know that it is more important to have God's favor than anything else.
Purpose: That you will become patient with God as he works out his will in your life
Theme: Impatience with the will of God is like catching the wrong end of a knife.
4 Contrasts:
1) a Me-First Strategy vs. a Humble Strategy,
2) Godless Ambition vs. Self Sacrifice,
3) Rebellion vs. Submission, and
4) a Selfish Perspective vs. a Honest Perspective.
