GCF: What man (King David) could not do, God can do and did in the death of His Son, Jesus Christ. 

Purpose: that you will embrace only Christ and his cross as the satisfication of justice and mercy.

What Outcomes did the manipulations try to get?

I. Joab wanted Absolom back living in Israel. (1-24)

II. Absolom wanted to see his father the King. (25-33)
