When confronted for sin... 1John 1:5-10
What is fellowship? Koinōnia translates... “tśumet yåd” in Lev 6:2=“a placing of a hand”
Gen 24:1-4 “śim na' yådkå” “place your hand!”
1Cor 5:1-6:11;Josh 22:16-20, Luk 17:3-4, Mat 18:15-20
Others: 1Jn 3:4-10,24, Tit 3:10-11
Gestures affirming those of the brotherhood: Gal 2:9, 1Co 16:20, Ro 16:16, 1Pet 5:14
Conclusion: It is in the context of true fellowship -where we judge each other according
to the commandments of YHWH- that members of the brotherhood are cleansed of sin
by the blood of Yeshu` (Jesus) our Lord (1John 1:7) and the standards of the pristine
faith of the holy brotherhood are preserved. We must let others judge us.
Fellowship is a mutual commitment to the covenant between us, that as brothers and
sisters we are to encourage, challenge, judge and compel one another to live
'the faith once for all delivered to the saints' (Jude 3).
Will you be my true brother/sister in Messiah, and let us judge each other?
