Every one of us will have times when we are criticized, sometimes fairly, but more often unfairly. Such criticism is a reflection more of the critic than of the person being criticized. The way to defeat such critics is to shake off their harsh words and keep moving forward, focusing on our goals and doing what we believe God wants us to do.
