The Action that Frees - Jonah 3.5-10
In this short book, the story of Jonah beautifully displays the Gospel in that while Jonah ran from God, God in love ran after Jonah in order to rescue him, and through him to rescue others.

However, God relentlessly and lovingly pursued Jonah and brought him to the end of himself as in like manner, God in His grace, seeks to bring us to the end of ourselves and in turn offers us Himself instead.
