Believing God is hard, but Christians are called to do exactly this:  to live a life of deep, persevering faith in His incredible promises.  This is our only hope of abiding happiness and blessing, because God only blesses the work He does (though He often allows/uses us and others in this).  We experience God's blessing when we believe His promises and act according to the work He has done, is doing, and will do.
