“Discernment is the spiritual skill of perceiving things as they really are, in order to abound in the love of God”. (D. LaChance) – We can blame people, places and things all we want for the hindrances to our walk with Christ, but there are three things that lie at the root; they make up Satan’s threefold cord of hindrances – The World, the flesh and the Devil. God has answered each of these strands of Satan’s cord directly with anther threefold cord. Having spiritual discernment with regard to the nature of this struggle is essential for the life that walks powerfully with God.
