Paul

The Apostle Paul is usually seen as a man on a mission. A man who left the past behind and only looked ahead. And this is true. At the same time Paul did not attain the ability to be forward looking easily. Christ literally drove Paul to his knees and broke his heart. Come meet Paul as perhaps never before. Real, genuine and a lot like us.

Stephen

Stephen was the first Christian martyr. He was wrongfully accused of heresy, yet didn’t turn His back on God. Instead, Stephen called out his accusers and spoke the bold truth of God’s faithfulness. His boldness led to a death sentence - by stoning. How many risks are we willing to take for Christ? Are we willing to die for Christ? Are we willing to live boldly for Christ?

Moses

Born a slave; rescued from execution as an infant; raised in the Egyptian courts; murderer and exile; and finally, God’s instrument of redemption for the Israelites from slavery – Moses’ story is the stuff of legends. When facing doubt and uncertainty, in Whom will we trust?

Jehosaphat

Your enemies gather all around you, united in their desire to destroy you and your people. Outnumbered, outmanned and out-weaponed, any leader would make the wise and prudent decision to retreat. Until God says, “Hold your ground for the battle is Mine.” Would you stand firm, or would you turn back? This is the decision Jehoshaphat faced. It's a decision we all face.

Lot & His Wife

Lot was Abraham’s nephew – and when they couldn’t get along, they divided their wealth and separated. Yet Abraham never took his eye off Lot and ensured his safety when Lot came under attack. During their escape Lot and his wife had one command – “Don’t look back.” But Lot’s wife did. To her peril. When obeying God, we must always remember to keep our eyes forward towards Christ and not on the life from which we are escaping.
