There is cause for concern in the church today. An emerging generation is losing more and more interest in the church because they think it doesn’t emulate what Jesus stood for. To them, the body of Christ stinks. In this series we will address the perceptions that the world around us holds about the church and open a dialogue for healthy discussion. Join us as we answer the question “are we doing what Jesus told us to do” and look at what we do next to address these concerns.

One common perception of Christians is that we are overly motivated by a political agenda – that we promote and represent politically conservative issues and interests.  Conservative Christians are often thought of as right-wingers.  This presents a large barrier for those who are attracted to Jesus, but don’t identify themselves with the same political make-up as the Church.  The church isn’t an organized religion with a political agenda.  It should be an organized community with a heart to serve others like Jesus did.
