Good leaders follow Christ and mighty men are men of prayer
True leaders follow the will of God. Look at the United States and the economy. Do they follow God? They allow abortion, legalized gambling and God will allow them to be disciplined. We must as leaders follow God. All the men in the Bible who brought peace, happiness and the protection of God were men of prayer. If you are not doing as much or more in study and prayer than before you are backsliding

Why look around to see if your happy to be happy?
Only in a relationship to God can we find joy. It is not religion, though there is only Christianity. It is not doctrine, although that leads to piety. We must wrestle with the deception that God isn't personal. We must fight the lie that God does not want to take care of every need. How do we develop a conversation with God?

Your a sinner cause you sense yourself!
You think you don't need to obey? Adam was perfect and he was supposed to. What is more fearful a woman who wants to be God or a man who knows the woman has fallen and chooses to eat the apple and follow her? We look how to Commune with the God that loved us so much He took off His crown and died on a cross for us. How do we learn to know Him? Get spiritual eyes! At the fall you started thinking about you and that is where it all starts. Jesus said don't let your left hand know whay your right hand is doing, that means your strong hand (right) which is your overemphasis on self. Let it go, get on your knees.

God's Spiritual Gifts teaching us to see Him
1. Learn to think not of self - Think God The people who have changed the world are people who taught people to live in it united to Christ. You must not look at your potentials, goals, and problems in relation to self but in relation to what God can do - everything! God is all capable. He doesn't judge!! God loves you as much as Billy Graham or John the Apostle. But Graham and the Apostles know Him and that requires communion. The heroic journey is denying self in training in the Bible
