This lecture class discusses how the Bible we hold and believe was actually put together as well as how the English versions we use today came to us. This is always a hot topic of conversation for many today. “Was the Bible simply assembled by a group of men?” “Did people or church councils leave out other books and writings simply because they didn’t fit in with agenda they wanted to promote?” “Why are there so many English translations that seem to say different things?” Do we have good answers for these things? The answer is yes – we just need to be informed of what they are. Obviously we can’t deal with all the questions or material that relate to this subject but this class is very helpful in giving Christians a firm footing in what we believe and why these things are true.
