Revelation 7:1-12 Sermon - Every part of the service lifted up Christ (from the song used in the Call to Worship to the Children's Sermon to the preaching from the Word). I love the use of the songs throughout the sermon (like a response to what was read in the portion of Scripture). I love the way the congregation participates in the reading of the Word...that's excellent! Thank you for the reminder that we who believe are the "sealed ones." And this was backed up with other Scripture. And thank you for the reminder that the world is not going to come to an end until ALL the people who are supposed to be in Heaven have believed in Christ. Same message for us today as back then in 90 A.D. when this was written. "God saves who He wants - when He wants." It makes me realize that I need to get busy about telling others about Christ - put more energy into being what Christ needs me to be for His Kingdom. When I was a young girl, at our home church, there would be people come forward and later talk about making a decision for Christ. My Dad, an elder in the church, called them "new born lambs" in their coming to Christ. The sad thing is ..... I can't remember the last time (more recently) that I have seen a "new born lamb." Thanks for your message that causes me to stop and remember why we are here...to tell others about Christ. God bless your every effort there for Him and His Kingdom....Dortha(Ingram)McGill
