Faithful Abraham
Abraham was blessed by God, he wasn’t trying to be blessed, he was blessed. He wasn’t trying to earn it. God knew he would be faithful to do what He called him to do. Abraham was faithful to obey the Lord. As he obeyed in each step, he walked more and more in that Blessing. The blessing of Abraham is ours, by faith.

Possessing the Promise
We have to possess the promise. God does certainly have big plans for this area, but we are going to have to possess the plan / promise. We do this not by natural means, not by flesh and blood, but by spiritual laws. So as we learn about them, they seem strange to our minds. When you go into the military, they spend time changing the way you think and act. They have to make you into a warrior. You no longer think of things the way you once did. You no longer act the way you once did. So too, are the things of God. They’re not natural, we don’t learn them naturally. Most things naturally are contrary to the Law of God.

Abraham: Man of patience
God has a plan to prosper us, He has a great plan for us. His plan takes time, they don’t happen overnight. We need patience, or endurance, if we are going to receive what the Lord desires for us. If we allow it to work, patience will cause us to be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If you don’t want lack, be patient, stay in faith.

Meditating the Word for our victory part 2
The things of God are learned a little at a time. Everything we learn either builds the foundation for something else we will learn later, or it fills in the gap of something we didn’t understand before, like the final piece to a jigsaw puzzle.

Abraham: Faith in God, not our abilities
Abraham was a man of faith. He trusted in God, not man, not himself, not in the natural order of things.

Meditating the Word for our victory part 1
Victory is promised to us by God, but there are some things that we have to do. One of which is meditating in God’s Word daily. Meditating in the Word will help us to understand and draw wisdom from the it. The more time we spend doing this, the more we’ll understand the Word, the more we understand, the more we’ll know what to do when we face challenges. Then, we will make our way prosperous and have good success. Then we will have the victory.

Abraham: Faith leaves the past behind.
Summary: Abraham was blessed because of his faith, not who he was. We are blessed today through faith, not who we are, where we come from, who our parents are, or anything else in the flesh. Abraham was a man of faith and of love. To get into the blessing that the Lord had for him, Abraham had to leave his family, his old way of doing things. For us to get into the place of blessing that God has for us there will need to be that separation also. Maybe not literally, but we need to separate from our old way of thinking and acting. Once we are born again, a transformation should take place. If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always have what you’ve always had. Be brave enough to launch out when He says go, it will be better than you ever dreamed.

Ive got the victory
Many are facing challenges, sometimes from multiple enemies. We already have the victory. We need to follow the steps of Jehoshaphat to see the Lord work out this victory for us. We need to praise God now, before we see the victory. When our enemies are defeated, we’ll come out with so much spoil, it will take 3 days to gather it all.

Abraham, Righteous and Chosen or Money Grubbing Sinner?
With all the attacks on the prosperity message, we have to examine the scriptures to see what God thinks about it. According to some misguided people, money is evil. They also think that there’s something wrong with the people that have it. They definitely think there’s something wrong with people that want more money. With this line of thought in mind, we examine Abraham, the father of Israel. He was extremely wealthy. Money is just a tool. God told him that He was going to bless him so that he would be able to be a blessing to all the nations of the world. We are to be blessed, like Abraham, so that we can be a blessing to the world as well.

Rejoice with Joy Unspeakable / Stay in the boat.
The faith of many is being tested right now. We need to rejoice, because the testing of our faith is good for us. It means there’s something the enemy is trying to keep us from. It helps strengthen us. Those who are not being tested need to be agreeing with those who are that they will receive that for which they are believing. We need to stay in joy. God will come though for us. Stay in faith. Stay in the boat, in joy. Joy is the boat. There’s no triumph without a trial, no victory without a battle. But the battle is the Lord’s. Don’t give up, you’re almost there.
