Love does no wrong

If we’re in love, we do no wrong, if we do wrong, we’re not in love.  Our fight is not with flesh and blood, or in other words, people.  We are to fight the good fight against the devil and all his demons.  We are to love people, no matter what they do to us.  Love places no demands of anyone other than itself.  Love takes the first step.  God has given us the love necessary to love like this.  Love does for others regardless of what they can do for us.  We owe everyone to love them.

Ro 13:10

10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of [the] law.

If we’re in love, we do no wrong, if we do wrong, we’re not in love.

Our fight is not with flesh and blood, or in other words, people.  We are to fight the good fight against the devil and all his demons.  We are to love people, no matter

Eph 6:10-19

10 ¶ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 ¶  And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Love does for the other person regardless of whether or not it will benefit them.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Amplified

4.  Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily 5.  It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].

6.  It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail

7.  Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].  8.  Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end].

We owe every man to love him.

Ro 13:8-10

8 Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled [the] law.

9  For this, "YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET," and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."

10  Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

We can’t do these things in ourselves, we must do them in the Love of God.  Fortunately, He’s given us His love.

Ro 5:5

and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Who is my neighbor

Lu 10:25-37

25 ¶ And a lawyer stood up and put Him to the test, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"

26  And He said to him, "What is written in the Law? How does it read to you?"

27  And he answered, "YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND; AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."

28  And He said to him, "You have answered correctly; DO THIS AND YOU WILL LIVE."

29  But wishing to justify himself, he said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"

30  Jesus replied and said, "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, and they stripped him and beat him, and went away leaving him half dead.

31  "And by chance a priest was going down on that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32  "Likewise a Levite also, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

33  "But a Samaritan, who was on a journey, came upon him; and when he saw him, he felt compassion,

34  and came to him and bandaged up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them; and he put him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn and took care of him.

35  "On the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and said, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I return I will repay you.’

36  "Which of these three do you think proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into the robbers’ hands?"

37  And he said, "The one who showed mercy toward him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do the same."

Joh 15:12

"This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

1Jo 3:10-18

10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.

11 ¶  For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;

12  not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s were righteous.

13  Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you.

14 ¶  We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death.

15  Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

16  We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

17  But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?

18  Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
