Remember - God is Good
God is Good: a reminder of why we serve God, and how good it is to serve Him. A lot of times, especially when we're busy doing things for God, or even believing for things, we forget just how good God is. We forget what all He has already done for us. Sometimes it's good to remind ourselves of these things. We need to praise Him for what He has done for us.
Ps. 103: 1-5
1 A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits;
3 Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases;
4 Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
5 Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
Rom 2:4 NKJV
4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
Ps 35:27
Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication; And let them say continually, "The LORD be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant."
Ps 30:11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,
Isa 61:1-3
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Ps 86:5
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You.
Ga 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
