For Such a Time as This

Esther 4:14

Circumstances had placed God's people and Esther in a seemingly impossible situation (Esther, Chapter 4)
 
  

 
Four realities will be at work in circumstances such as these:
 
 
 
1)  The evil course of others (Genesis 50:20)
 
 
 
2)  The condition of the world (Romans 8:19)
 
 
 
3)  The consequences of choices (Proverbs 6:10; James 3:16)
 
 
 
4)  God at work in them all
 
 

Four responses will guide us through them:
 
 
 
 
1)  Pray and seek the help of others (Esther 4:16a)
 
 
 
2)  Loosen your grip (Esther 4:16b)
 
 
 
3)  Take action and step out in faith (Esther 5:1)
 
 
 
4)  Use what God has given: His Word and His Wisdom (Esther 5:4ff)
