JESUS CHRIST: LIFE FOCUS
Jesus Christ: The perfect mediator. He stands where no human king can, able to lead His people perfectly.
Jesus Christ: The perfect Son. He was confident of the Father's will, even in the midst of troubling times.
Jesus Christ: The perfect obedient sacrifice. He was obedient to the point of death, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us.

Saul was handsome, of good stature and popular with the people. Saul is picture of sort of church that may now exist, but is not new, and will be here when Jesus returns.
This new or old church is of good stature in the evangelical circles. It is a lovely church. Very handsome and attractive. It may be a megachurch but not limited. It is popular with the people. It's the kind of church the people like to go to.
It also represent the pastor of that church(es). He is handsome, comely, of good stature and reputation, and the type the people like to listen to. He hasth a way with the audience. He may have many supported in his assembly or creed.
It may also represent a mentality or philosophy. It caters to the whims of what is pleasing to the flesh and comfort of life. It has a pull on the selfish goals of common people. It's what humanly attractive to embrace. It suited to entertain the eye and glory in this life and its humanistic dreams. It may be very moral and religious. Even holy to its own purposes to maintain the fellowship and have one mind and one goal to stick together.
God gave the people what they wanted, a king with the likes of Saul, but the heart of Saul was not with God like David, he had a form of religion but he was the people's man and not Gods.
You know the story from the bible. Saul did not come to the true worship of God and had murder in his heart. He had an envious side to him. He had his own agenda.
Like the church we talk about, hastn not the true worship of God. This new,old church worship the idols of men and what is exalted to men. Taking the name of Christ this new,old church hasth its own idea of what to worship. This new,old church, babylon is old as civilization in the tower of babel. It's objective is to put forward the things that are important to men.
Jesus said, what is exalted amongst men is an abomination in the sight of God. This new,old church worships the self of men and selfish ambition. Since the pharesees of Jesus time, to today this worship continues to be imported from the world.
Remember, selfish ambition, that is what Saul was so appealing for to the people, his selfish worship of himself. And that what this new church worships: the self and that what the devil worships, himself and we follow suit if we are part of that church.
May we be delivered. In Jesus name. Amen
