The Problem with Auto Pilot
The Bible makes some wonderful promises to those who would follow Christ: abundant life, peace, hope, and strength just to name a few. The problem is far too many Christians are not experiencing this. The reason for this is that too many of us expect our Christian growth and development to occur automatically. However, the Bible simply does not teach this. Spiritual life is available to the Christian, but it's not automatic.
