The truth about God is found in the cross. Jesus said, “I am the truth”. His mission on earth was to die on the cross for our sin and rise again to conquer death. To understand the cross is to know God. You may not want to hear the truth about God, especially if things are going well for you. But this does not negate another fact—that you are a sinner and will eventually die. Only God can fix this and desires for you to know the truth about his death and resurrection. When Thomas finally understood, he proclaimed, “My Lord and My God.”
