Who is CV?
CV is a fellowship of evangelical Christians who consider gospel ministry an important priority. We aim, through God’s mercy, to raise faithful and able servants of the gospel, whether for full-time or part-time, ordained or lay, local or overseas ministries. We are seeking men and women with gifts of leadership, Bible teaching and evangelism, who will make gospel ministry their life and passion.
We hope to raise the profile of gospel ministry as a desirable career. We also aim to gather enthusiastic leaders to recruit and train the next generation of gospel workers.
Whatever stage a person has reached in considering gospel ministry CV aims to help them progress in their thinking, planning and taking action.
CV Conference
CV conference provides a rare opportunity to take three days time-out, away from daily responsibilities and distractions, to think and pray through your ministry plans for the future.
The conference program combines a variety of sessions, including Bible talks, training sessions and elective seminars. Each participant meets with a coach during the weekend, providing opportunities for personal mentoring. Coaches act as a sounding board for plans, help participants to evaluate their gifts, identify areas for development and offer advice.
CV conference offers the chance to network and build relationships among like-minded Christian leaders, both current and future, from across the state.
Who should come?
CV conference is for people who have the following questions:
• What will I do for the rest of my life?
• What gifts has God given me for Christian ministry?
• Should I consider training for full-time ministry?
• What am I willing to give up to preach the gospel?
• What opportunities are available?
• Who can help me make these decisions?
CV is also for those already in full-time ministry who long to see others join them!
