Victory Over Carnality Part 1

(Romans 8:1 KJVR)
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
The word therefore is tying the truths of chapter 7 with this chapter. It introduces the fact that we are justified by faith alone because of God’s amazing Grace.
The word condemnation is the opposite of justification. Instead of being justified or made right in God’s eyes, condemnation means to be guilty under God’s law and to be under the penalty of that law, which is eternal punishment in Hell.
Paul is teaching that there is no condemnation for those that are in Jesus Christ.
No means no! No condemnation….NONE!
There will be no verdict of Guilty. There will be no eternal punishment in Hell. There will no millions of years in purgatory to make us right with God Almighty.
It means that our sins, past, present and future, have been paid for by the work of Christ upon the cross and we have been imputed with the righteousness of Jesus by His perfect life on Earth.
How wonderful to know that being in Jesus Christ that we no longer have to come before God in Judgment to face his Righteous anger.
