"These , then, are the two points I wanted to make. First, that human beings, all over the earth, have this curious idea that they ought to behave in a certain way, and cannot really get rid of it. Secondly, that they do no in fact behave in that way. They know the Law of Nature; they break it. 20 My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times. Psalm 119:20 (NIV)

"The other bit of evidence is that Moral Law which he has put into our minds. And this is a better bit of evidence than the other, because it is inside information. You find out more about God from the Moral Law than from the universe in general just as you find out more about a man by listening to his conversation than by looking at a house he has built....God is the only comfort, He is also the supreme terror: the think we most need and the thing we most want to hide from. He is our only possible ally, and we have made ourselves His enemies....When you have realized that our position is nearly desperate you will begin to understand what the Christians are talking about." 21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. Romans 3:21 (NIV)

1. "RIGHTEOUSNESS" means "A RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD."

2. IT COMES FROM GOD.

22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, Romans 3:22 (NIV)

3. IT COMES TO ALL WHO BELIEVE.

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23 (NIV)

24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:24 (NIV)

4. ITS FREE.

25 God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished- Romans 3:25 (NIV)

26 he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. Romans 3:26 (NIV)
