I PROMISE
"Jump" - Part 3

1. Many times we wish God had PROMISED THINGS HE HAS NOT PROMISED.

"In this world you will have trouble." John 16:33b (TNIV)

14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. 2. Our understanding Savior promises MERCY AND GRACE EVERY TIME.

5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
"Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5 (TNIV)

5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling. Psalm 68:5 (TNIV)

19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (TNIV)

3. His grace and mercy more than OVERCOMES OUR NEEDS AND CIRCUMSTANCES.

33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33 (TNIV)

1 You have searched me, LORD,
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you, LORD, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
