Matthew 21 starts with Jesus' triumphal, but often misunderstood entry into Jerusalem, which is shortly followed an awesome display of zeal in purging the temple of those who had set up business inside. This is followed by a series of parables of Jesus stating clearly the desire of His heart for those whom the temple had been given. The implications for us today are MAJOR, and this passage requires us to examine both our lives individually as well as what has become a near modern day example of the temple, the Christian Church. Do we meet His desires for the people of His kingdom? Let the Spirit search your heart and the truth be bared out!
