The Passion Week

Passion Week is the week leading up to and including the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. It starts with Jesus’ triumphal entry in Jerusalem, and the waving of Palm Branches from those who received His declaration to be Israel’s King and Messiah. We call it Palm Sunday. We will look at Christ’s “passion” that week and His call for disciples to have the same passion/endurance in obeying God today. Jesus’ week was a picture of the believer’s lifetime, including presentations, authority, controversy, mixed reactions from people, suffering and eternal life.
