When Goodbye is the Right Thing to Say

Goodbye is the right thing to say. And so, with one more week to go; friends, sisters and brothers in Christ, partners in ministry, fellow travelers in life’s pilgrimage, children, youth, and adults, my beloved friends… God be with you. God go with you. Now and always.

Worship in the Park 2017

There’s 2 communities we need to come alongside. The first is the community of faith. That's our fellow Christians. It doesn’t matter what church you go to, it doesn’t matter what denomination that church is, we all fellowship alongside each other…AS CHRIST’S CHURCH. We should be supporting each other and working together to accomplish the Great Commission. That’s what I love about these community events. If someone joins us here and they decide they want to fellowship with ANY of the churches here; all I can say is…HALLELUJAH! The point is that they find out where they fit in God's community and get engaged doing God’s work there. The second is the community around us, Cherryvale or wherever you live. We must come alongside those struggling in life. They don’t know where to turn. No one seems to have the answers. They can’t make it…without help. And, we have the answer! It’s a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST!

The Best 2 Gifts...Ever!

If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator. If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist. If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist. If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer. But, our greatest need was forgiveness, so God sent us a Savior. JESUS!

Bewitched

What we’ve seen in our text today is that, Paul was saying to these Galatians; you've experienced salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ, you've experienced the fullness of the gift of the Holy Spirit, didn't it matter? Was it all needless? Having begun in the Spirit, you’re now going to make yourselves perfect, by works? Church, Friends, don’t fall into that trap. The Holy Spirit gives us great power to live for God, but there are some Christians that JUST WANT MORE. Listen to find out.
