Laws, Lies and Lip Service - Hypocrisy grows in an environment of legalism. Hypocrisy grows when perception is more important than reality. Hypocrisy grows when people give lip service to God but never experienced a true spiritual transformation in their own lives. Something More - Looking for meaning and purpose, that 'something more' is a relationship with Jesus Christ. Good Isn't Good Enough - God doesn't want you to try harder - He wants you to turn to Him by asking Him to forgive you and to lead your life! Letting Go - The man was so close to forgiveness, to a new life – but he wasn’t willing to let go of what he loved the most and follow Jesus. Knowing Jesus - There is another story in the Bible about another young man. Like the first one, he was young, powerful, brilliant, aggressive. He was on the road to success in every way until he came face to face with Jesus. But instead of holding on to his life, this young man left everything to follow Jesus. The apostle Paul - God changed him and then he used him to change the world! Philippians 3:7-9 Cardboard Testimony - Don’t leave here the way you came! You can be changed. You can be forgiven. You can know God in a real, personal way. Not by trying harder – but by turning to Jesus and asking him to forgive you and lead your life right now!

Brokenness/burden - concern for the lost Hell: The Final Resting Place There are some things you will never find in hell: 1. There is no light in hell - only utter darkness. 2. There is no rest in hell - Rev. 14:11 3. There is no hope in hell - Mt. 25:46 (eternal), Dan. 12:2 (everlasting) Why would God create a place like hell? Jesus died - Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. 2. Jesus' tomb is empty - that He was buried, that He was raised on the 3rd day according to the scriptures. 3. Jesus appeared alive after His death - and that He appeared to Peter, and then to the twelve. After that, He appeared to more than 500 of the brothers at the same time. 4. Jesus transformed people's lives - But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect.
