“WHY SERVE?”

INTRODUCTION:

    The concept of “greatness” is appealing to almost everybody, but defining “greatness” is not an easy task. Jesus defined greatness much differently than most people when He said:

     “Whoever wishes to become great must be the servant of all.”  Matthew 20:26

    When Jesus wanted to illustrate this concept to His disciples, He adorned a towel and told them that He was going to wash their feet.

    Every church ought to be characterized by people who follow Jesus’ example and seek to serve others.

Key Question: Are you more interested in being served by a church or being a servant in a church?
