It is Not Natural to Be Thankful to God
Are you continually thankful to God no matter the circumstances? For good and for bad, we are to thank God for His love for us. Look at Psalm 107:6;13;19 and 28. Did you cry out to the Lord in trouble and did He deliver you? If you did not cry out, how can you be delivered from your troubles? Only God can do this!
Be Clean
What would you say if you see Jesus? Do we give Him reverence and respect? Are we in awe of Him; are we humbled before Him? Are you clean before God? Have you been touched by His outstretched hand in order to make you clean? Have you been changed by Him or are you same person as before your profession of faith? When God moves us are we willing to say "I am clean" and go out in the world and tell them what He has done for us?
Get into the Deep Waters and see the Glory of God
When you hear God speak, He is speaking to you, not to the person next to you. When we listen to His message we have to take it to our own heart, not say : I wished so and so was here to hear this, because he needs it". How often is it not that you work hard with a lot of dedication for a long period and do not see any result of it; don't even get a "thank you". Ask yourself if you are doing your way or are you doing it God's way? Is what you do every day for your own (glory) or is it for Him?
