Sermon Cloud

Rosie spoke about feathers.  In her words:

When I came in tonight… the Lord has been for the last 5 or 6 months giving me feathers.  I find feathers everywhere.  I mean in places they shouldn’t be, I find them in stores, on the floor, in trees.  I found one in the tree today and it was this big (holding her fingers up very close together, signifying a small feather).  I don’t bring big huge feathers, I bring a lot of little tiny feathers that I shouldn’t be able to see.  It’s like I’m walking by something in the grass, it waves to me and I kinda look over, it’s a feather! 

On my way in this evening, in the grass when you start coming here, right where they’re setting up the screen, I’m walking and this thing is waving to me, and it’s a little feather, so I picked it up.  I put it in my hand and was going to put it in my Bible, but I felt like, no, it’s not for me it’s for somebody else.  So Pam came up and gave me a big hug and she knows about my feathers, so I gave it to her and she put it in her cap. 

Ok, well, every time I get a feather I just think God is taking care of me.  Do you know what I’m saying?  It’s His protection, His wing of protection.  So, when we were praising and worshiping, and I was lifting my hands, the Lord put something in my hand.  It was like a scroll, and He said “Take it” so I took it, you know, but I knew it was for all of us, not just for me.  But I didn’t know what it said and He said “Don’t worry.  You’ll know what it says when the time is right.” 

So, when we were praising and worshiping, I just kept seeing the thorns around Jesus’ head.  We have the mind of Christ, when Jesus was crucified and they crowned Him with those thorns, it represented our protection for that mind of Christ because when He created Adam and put him in the garden He told Adam to keep the garden.  If you look up that word “keep” it means “to hedge about with thorns.”  So, what I feel like he was saying for us is He is hedging us about with the thorns of His protection.
