Danny Croce - November 2009
Our speaker this month is Chaplain Danny Croce of "New Hope Correctional Ministry!” Some time ago Danny killed someone in a car accident while DUI and spent time in prison where God changed his life. He is married with 5 children and 2 dependent adults and two children in college. He is not employed, but walks by faith through donations. He is in full time ministry as a Chaplain at the prison doing Bible studies and working with the prisoners, making disciples. He will share how he came into an intimate personal relationship with Jesus Christ and how the Holy Spirit guides and directs his life daily

Kwame Asante
Our speaker this month is Kwame Asante. He was born and raised in Ghana, North Africa. He graduated from college in Ghana with a Masters Degree in Geography and a Masters in Education. He came to the USA to further his education at URI. He retired from a manufacturing company a few years ago and is currently teaching at a Christian School. He had an encounter with Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost over thirty years ago. We often talk about the wonderful change that Christ brought into our life. Kwame will share with us some of the struggles he has been through and how "real" Jesus is to him. He has been through the fire. He spends much of his life in the Word of God and prayer. He knows Jesus by the Holy Spirit.

Colonel David A. Brown
Colonel David A. Brown, U.S. Army, is a designated Army Strategist who holds a BA in Philosophy from Carson Newman College, a diploma from the Defense Language Institute for studies in the Greek language, a diploma from the Army's Command and General Staff College, a MS from Long Island University in Counseling and Leader Development, a MMAS from the Army's School of Advanced Military Studies Program, and a MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. COL Brown's career spans over 25 years in Field Artillery units and a variety of command and staff positions in the United States and overseas. His testimony gives glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and reveals his ability to lean on his Faith when faced with the the depravity of man!

Our speaker this month is Pastor Jose Moniz, the senior Pastor of the Pentecostal Assembly Church of New Bedford since 1993. Pastor Moniz came to this country from the Azores. His ministry is in caring for the elderly. Presently Pastor Moniz is spear heading the development of a church-sponsored retirement community in Freetown, Massachusetts. His church is also associated with a Christian ministry in India. Pastor Moniz will share with us how God has blessed his life and work

Our speaker for March 2009 was Reverend Willie Moody. He is the associate Pastor at the Solid Rock Church in Cranston. He was in the business world in New Jersey. He has a degree in mental health and a Masters Degree in Public Health and has worked in mental health therapy. He had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ over thirty years ago. He shared his testimony of his relationship with "Jesus" and How followers of Christ can be made whole mentally as well as spirituality.

Ron Lheureux testimony at Providence RI FGBMFI Luncheon February 11, 2009
Ron Lheureux is the owner of Cornerstone Contractors, a home building and remodeling business. He and his wife are involved at New Life Worship Center. Before coming to Christ his life was in a mess. He went to jail for a number of years where he was introduced to Jesus. He begin to study the Word of God which the Holy Spirit used to bring about transformation in his life. He will share with us how he came out prison penniless, and how the Lord helped him start a business and enabled him to prosper in his business as well as in his soul.
