When was the last time you had counseling?

Sermon Title:              When was the last time you had counseling?

Scripture Text:            Exodus 18:13-27

THEME:

“Everyone is afflicted with some sort of pain and suffering, where it be spiritual problems, grief of Loss, anxiety, stress, depression, abuse, and yes, even marriage. In fact, the cry for relief is deafening; the need to simply slow down and live a simpler life is compelling. A study by Barna & Hatch, said that More than 50% of all adults in the United States now claim to be stressed out. They are too busy to make sense of their time-starved, cluttered, and unstable worlds. Sometimes we avoid asking for help out of fear that it admits failure. We think, I should be able to handle this on my own; I’m supposed to succeed. I just need to push through. But the truth is that God created us with a need for help. Needing help has always been part of God’s design for us.”
